“Rongshantang” is a brand under Shanghai Minshi Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., established in 2012. Committed to promoting traditional Chinese culture to Chinese consumers, it focuses on creating a complete line of tea space products centered around tea sets, Chinese-style home furnishings, and tea room furniture. After years of effort, it has achieved a certain industrial scale.

Integrating traditional elements into contemporary design concepts, it upholds independent thinking and its own design principles, aiming to blend classical elements with modern materials in its development.

Brand Vision: Seeking seclusion in the countryside doesn’t necessarily require wandering in the woods; a higher level of seclusion can be found within the hustle and bustle of the city. This is the “urban seclusion” advocated by Rongshantang.

Rongshantang’s admired new Chinese tea space doesn’t just stack traditional elements but integrates modern aesthetics into Chinese-style characteristics, expressing a pursuit of the refined and dignified Eastern spirit. For years, Rongshantang has observed the unique daily life of Chinese people, exploring the spiritual core of Eastern lifestyles. By continuously contemplating the ingenious fusion of Chinese elements with modern materials, it has developed a distinctive new Chinese style.

Rongshantang has integrated resources across the industry, establishing a complete supply chain system, and continues innovating, expanding product lines, and the supply chain.

In 2019, the Ruihe Tu series, an original development by Rongshantang, became a typical representation of its product development philosophy. Inspired by the ancient painting “Ruihe Tu” by Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, designers modified the original to express contemporary spirit through this artwork. Currently, the Ruihe Tu elements have been applied to various household items such as tea sets, wine sets, insulated cups, and water cups.

Rongshantang firmly believes that the best way to preserve traditional culture is to make it popular.

The brand’s founder, Liu Wei, established Shanghai Minshi Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. in 2012 and founded Rongshantang in the same year. Liu Wei, known for his spirit of challenge and innovation, combines more than ten years of experience working for two Fortune 500 companies, bringing internationalized production, marketing, and business management concepts to lead the company team in building Rongshantang into an influential brand in the industry.

In 2016, Lao Lishi became the spokesperson for Rongshantang. Lao Lishi, the diving champion at the 2004 Athens Olympics, the individual who rang the bell at the Alibaba listing on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014, and in the same year, was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.

In June 2017, it established cooperation with the copyright of the National Museum of China.

In May 2018, the brand’s image advertisement appeared on the big screen of the Nasdaq in New York’s Times Square.

In 2019, the brand’s Jade Porcelain series won the “Best Tea Ware of the Year” at the 16th Shanghai International Tea Industry Trade Expo.

In September 2019, it obtained the development and sales permit for tea products in cooperation with the copyright of the National Library of China.
