TOKIT was born in 2018 and is a high-end internet kitchen appliance brand under PureMI Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Headquartered in Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Park, it aims to build the future smart kitchen ecosystem. The brand has released five series comprising twelve products, including intelligent rice cookers, smart ovens, intelligent pressure cookers, intelligent thermal sensing stoves, smart water purifiers, and AI multifunctional food processors.
The TOKIT App combines TOKIT products to offer users a completely new intelligent experience, dedicated to letting users discover the joy of cooking.
TOKIT’s mission is to provide users with a more intelligent and convenient culinary lifestyle. Mr. Naito Tsuyoshi, renowned as the “father of pressure IH rice cookers,” was specially invited by TOKIT to lead the structural development. The brand launched a highly intelligent series of kitchen appliances, facilitating deep integration between products and the app, creating a bidirectional control mode, continuously enhancing the cooking experience. It encourages everyone to step into the kitchen, cook effortlessly, find joy in cooking, and define their personalized kitchen space.
In 2013, Yang Hua entered the Chinese kitchen appliance industry, establishing Shanghai PureMI Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., commencing the research and development of smart kitchen appliances. Yang Hua’s primary objective for the initial 20-member PureMI team was to create a rice cooker that meets cooking needs.
With the inclusion of Tsuyoshi, in 2014, Yang Hua set off on an ambitious mission overseas: not only to produce pressure IH rice cookers but also to develop smart pressure IH rice cookers. After two years of dedicated research and development, in March 2016, the pressure IH rice cooker was officially launched, infusing intelligence throughout the rice cooking process. The product incorporated innovative functions such as rice variety recognition (scanning to identify the type of rice), altitude adaptation (automatic pressure adjustment based on altitude to control boiling point temperature), and customized taste (linear adjustment of rice softness/hardness through the App), enabling over 3,000 cooking options, continually expanding.
In May 2016, Guo Wenqi joined the team, bringing a fresh design perspective. In 2018, the intelligent and vibrant TOKIT came into existence, adding color and warmth to intelligence.
In March 2019, the internet kitchen appliance brand TOKIT was officially launched, introducing seven products across four series – intelligent rice cookers, smart pressure cookers, intelligent ovens, and intelligent thermal sensing stoves. Elevating the overall industrial design standards based on quality, functionality, and intelligence, the brand deepened its content services, offering consumers a smarter kitchen lifestyle.
