PHNIX was founded in 2002, a renowned brand in air-source heat pump water heaters, specializing in product development, manufacturing, sales, and service of air-source heat pumps, air heating devices, and air-source heat pump water heaters.
PHNIX Technology was established in April 2002 as an internationally innovative enterprise focusing on new energy and environmental protection technology. The company integrates product development, production, sales, and service, primarily dealing with air-source heat pumps, air heating devices, air-source heat pump water heaters, air heating systems, floor heating, water purification, and purifiers. It holds full ownership of Guangdong PHNIXks Energy-saving Equipment Co., Ltd., Guangdong PHNIXks Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., and has controlling stakes in 12 other companies.
PHNIX Technology has a global footprint with a focus on China. It has overseas research institutions such as the Belgium Joint Research Center, U.S. Research Cooperation Center, German Technology Center, Israel Customer Center, Swedish Service Center, and domestic production bases in Guangzhou Dagang, Nansha, and Wuhu, Anhui. It boasts nearly a thousand product models and exports to multiple countries and regions worldwide.

In the commercial domain, their products span room heating and cooling, central domestic hot water, constant-temperature swimming pool dehumidification, among others. Notably, the Ultra-Low Temperature Heat Pump North Star series has been nationally recognized and serves as a ‘smog’ weapon replacing traditional heating boilers in northern China. In the industrial sector, their products cover high-temperature hot water, industrial and agricultural drying, pioneering the application of heat pumps in the printing drying industry. In the household sector, PHNIX’s air-cooled water heaters are highly acclaimed, and they have established an O2O sales model for household heat pumps, water purifiers, and similar devices on the internet, marking the onset of the traditional manufacturing industry’s transformation into the internet era. Internationally, PHNIX products are exported to over 60 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, and Dubai, consistently maintaining a leading position in China’s heat pump exports with global sample projects, notably significant in the global swimming pool heat pump market.
As of April 1, 2021, the company has applied for a total of 896 patents, with 493 patents granted. It holds 23 copyrights, eight work copyrights, and 15 computer software copyrights, leading the air-source energy industry in terms of quantity and quality of patent applications. The company has participated in the formulation of over ten national and industry standards, establishing 16 laboratories including energy-efficient comprehensive performance labs, precision semi-anechoic labs, and reliability labs. It stands as the Guangdong Industrial Heat Pump Engineering Technology Research Center and the Chinese Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry University Student Science and Technology Competition Base.
