Established in 2001, XTEP is a large sports fashion and athletic equipment enterprise specializing in the design, research and development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and brand management of sportswear, footwear, and accessories.

XTEP (China) Co., Ltd. was officially listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on June 3, 2008. Its unique positioning of “fashion sports” has brought consumers an “extraordinary feeling.”

XTEP has always seen its mission as becoming a leader in running sports in China. Since 2007, XTEP has actively engaged in the running field, sponsoring marathons in over twenty cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Xiamen, Guangzhou, and Wuhan, making it one of the most sponsored sportswear brands for marathon events in the Greater China region. In addition to its involvement in numerous running events, XTEP has also signed top athletes like race walkers Chen Ding and Wang Zhen, sprinter Xie Zhenye, among others, as brand ambassadors. The slogan “Love Running, Love XTEP” has deeply resonated with people.

Simultaneously, as a promoter of youth football development and popularization in China, XTEP sponsors national campus leagues, such as the National College Football League, National College Five-a-side Football League, and National High School Campus Football League, to promote football in schools, interact with youth, and contribute to the vigorous development of Chinese football. In 2010, XTEP signed with English Premier League club Birmingham City and, in 2011, with La Liga powerhouse Villarreal. In 2016, XTEP partnered with internationally renowned football star Andriy Shevchenko to create professional football products successfully introduced to the market. In April 2016, XTEP launched the “Sharp Edge Plan” for football, which aims to build a foundation for Chinese football through four initiatives: event planning, training programs, product plans, and promotional strategies, with the goal of serving 5 million youth in five years.

Furthermore, XTEP sponsored the National Games for three consecutive sessions and once again became the partner for the delegations from Tianjin, Fujian, the People’s Liberation Army, Jilin, and Hong Kong for the 13th National Games in 2017. In 2015, XTEP became the sports equipment partner of the National Youth Games of the People’s Republic of China.

In 2015, XTEP made a strong comeback to sports and proposed the “3+” strategy with consumer experience as its core. “Product+” focuses on upgrading products; “Sports+” integrates products and services; “Internet+” responds to lifestyle trends by enhancing online and offline interaction. While maintaining professionalism, XTEP adheres to a “Sports and Entertainment Marketing” dual-track approach and has signed many popular celebrities such as Aaron Kwok, TWINS, Wilber Pan, Jolin Tsai, Gui Lun Mei, Han Geng, Day Day Brothers, Lin Chen Na, UNIQ, Du Tian Hao, Wang Dong Cheng, Zhao Li Ying, Lin Geng Xin, and Lelush NEXT, inheriting and consolidating the brand’s fashionable style.
