Guangwei Group’s outdoor equipment brand is a comprehensive company that integrates R&D, production, and sales of fishing rods, fishing line reels, baits, and related fishing gear products based on the traditional fishing gear industry. Weihai Guangwei Outdoor Equipment Co., Ltd., established in January 2010, is a subsidiary of Guangwei Group and is located at 350-4 Shichang Avenue, Gao District, Weihai. After optimizing the industrial layout, it’s an integrated company based on the traditional fishing gear industry, focusing on R&D, production, and sales of fishing rods, fishing line reels, baits, and related fishing gear products. The company has a registered capital of 50 million yuan and employs more than 2,500 people.

The company has four subsidiaries, including Weihai Guangwei Fishing Rod Co., Ltd., Weihai Liangmei Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., Weihai Guangwei Polyurethane Rubber Products Co., Ltd., and Weihai Guangxing Fishing Gear Co., Ltd. It also owns five production factories such as Guangmei Fishing Gear Factory, Ruixing Fishing Gear Factory, and Shiguang Fishing Gear Factory, and 15 Shangzhouwu fishing gear chain stores. Its products range from fishing rods, fishing line reels, and baits to paint chemicals, rubber products, and related fishing gear products. The company produces 10 million fishing rods and 10 million reel and kit products annually, exporting to 64 countries and regions worldwide.

While maintaining its overseas markets, the company focuses on developing its own brand and collaborating with international brands. The Guangwei brand has established 23 regional agencies nationwide, while the Guangxing brand has over 1,000 direct sales stores in China. In 2015, the Guangwei E-commerce Center was set up. Additionally, international collaboration brands include “Shangzhouwu (JSY, CGF)”, “RYOBI”, and “RANMI”.

While focusing on development, the company continually enhances technological innovation and intellectual property protection. It has presided over and participated in drafting five light industry standards such as “fishing rod”, “spinning fishing line reel”, and “sealed fishing line reel”. The company possesses over 300 registered trademarks and 60 patents and has registered the “guangwei” trademark in 36 countries.
