Founded in 1991, ANTA Group is a globally recognized sports equipment brand engaged in the design, production, and sale of sports footwear, apparel, accessories, and other sporting equipment. The company is a comprehensive, multi-brand sports equipment group. It was established in 1991 and went public in Hong Kong in 2007. In 2018, ANTA Group’s sales revenue exceeded 40 billion RMB, with a year-on-year growth rate of over 44.4%. In the first half of 2019, ANTA achieved a revenue of 14.8 billion RMB, with a 40% year-on-year growth. After nearly 30 years of development, ANTA Group has transformed from a traditional private enterprise to a public company with a modern governance structure and international competitiveness. Since 2015, ANTA Group has been one of China’s largest sports equipment groups, with a market value exceeding 170 billion Hong Kong dollars in August 2019, ranking third in the global sports equipment industry.

In 2018, the group sold 70 million pairs of sports shoes and 100 million pieces of sportswear, operating over 12,000 stores and providing direct employment for 100,000 people. ANTA Group adheres to the development strategy of “Single Focus, Multiple Brands, Omni-Channel.” The group owns several well-known Chinese and international sports brands, including ANTA (China), FILA (Italy), DESCENTE (Japan), KOLON (South Korea), etc., to comprehensively meet the diverse needs of consumers. In March 2019, an investor consortium consisting of ANTA Sports, FountainVest Partners, Anamered Investments, and Tencent completed the acquisition of Amer Sports Corporation, marking the start of its globalization process. The international renowned brands under Amer Sports have also joined ANTA Group’s multi-brand lineup, including Salomon (France), Arc’teryx (Canada), Atomic (Austria), Suunto (Finland), Wilson (USA), Precor (USA), and Peak Performance (Sweden). These brands are leaders in their respective fields of outdoor sports, skiing, ball sports, and sports equipment, and have a strong presence in major markets in Europe, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific region. After the merger with Amer Sports, ANTA Group has become the third-largest comprehensive sports equipment group globally, serving consumers worldwide.

ANTA Group has always adhered to the principle of “innovation as the foundation of survival” and continuously increased investment in research and development. As of the end of 2018, ANTA Group’s investment in innovation and R&D accounted for 5.2% of its sales cost. It has established global design and R&D centers in locations such as Los Angeles, Tokyo, Seoul, Milan, mainland China, and Hong Kong, with nearly 200 design and R&D experts from 20 different countries and regions. ANTA has accumulated more than 1,200 national innovation patents.

ANTA has consistently supported the development of China’s sports industry and promoted the implementation of the “National Fitness” strategy. From 2009 to 2024, ANTA will serve as the official partner of the Chinese Olympic Committee for 16 consecutive years. In 2017, ANTA Group became an official partner of the Chinese Olympic Committee and the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. ANTA has provided awarding equipment, competition equipment, and daily training equipment for more than 30 major international sports events, including the Vancouver Winter Olympics, the Guangzhou Asian Games, the London Olympics, the Incheon Asian Games, the Sochi Winter Olympics, the Rio Olympics, the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, and the Jakarta Asian Games, for 36 national teams and the Chinese sports delegation. Until 2024, ANTA will continue to work with Chinese athletes in major international sports events such as the Tokyo Olympics, the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Hangzhou Asian Games, and the Paris Olympics.
