Tianfu Group is a tea-focused conglomerate founded in mainland China by Mr. Li Ruihe, a Chinese-American. Mr. Li Ruihe is the permanent honorary president of the World Lee’s General Association, an honorary doctorate holder from Lincoln University in the United States, and the president of Taiwan’s Ten Ren Group, the U.S. Ten Ren Group, and China’s Tianfu Group. Mr. Li Ruihe’s ancestors were from Zhangpu, Fujian, and more than 210 years ago, they crossed the sea to Taiwan, where they began to grow and sell tea. Mr. Li Ruihe is the seventh generation of this family. In 1953, Mr. Li Ruihe founded the first Ten Ren Tea specialty store in Taiwan. Over the past forty years, with his professional knowledge of tea, adherence to honest business principles, and a strong work ethic, he diligently expanded the business and established over 60 chain tea stores in Taiwan, forming the Ten Ren Group, a tea industry conglomerate. Within the Ten Ren Group in Taiwan, there are 12 related companies involved in various fields such as securities, investments, tourism, hospitals, tea culture funds, and more. Under the leadership of Mr. Li Ruihe, the Ten Ren Group began to expand into the United States, opening Ten Ren Tea stores in major cities. It later expanded to Canada, Japan, Malaysia, and other countries, becoming the multinational Ten Ren Group. This transformed the tea industry from a sunset industry into a sunrise industry, truly carrying the sunset into sunrise.
Tianfu Group has opened over 1,400 “TenFu’s TEA” chain stores in mainland China. Tianfu Group is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 06868) and raised HKD 1.2 billion, making it a mainland-based tea industry enterprise listed in Hong Kong. President Li Ruihe, since opening the first “Ten Ren Tea” specialty store in Taiwan in 1953, has blended modern business management practices into traditional industries with the concept of “an old industry with new management.” With over 40 years of successful experience in the tea business, he established a unique expansion and management method for tea chain stores, successfully opening over 130 “Ten Ren Tea” chain stores in Taiwan and later expanding to the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and other places. In 1993, President Li Ruihe saw the great business opportunity presented by mainland China’s reform and opening-up policy. With deep affection for his hometown, he invested in the mainland and founded the Tianfu Group. Leveraging the successful experience gained from “Ten Ren Tea” over the decades, he set the grand goal of “rooted in Fujian, renowned nationwide, and spreading worldwide.” With determination for success and relentless effort, he tirelessly worked to establish the China Tianfu Group, investing five years to complete the plan of opening 100 chain stores in ten years. To date, the group has established eight companies, five tea and tea food processing factories, and TenFu’s TEA chain stores nationwide, visible with green-and-white signs in major cities from Wangfujing in Beijing and Nanjing Road in Shanghai to Urumqi and Karamay in Xinjiang, Harbin in Heilongjiang, Kunming in Yunnan, and Haikou in Hainan, offering warm service and free tea to all.
