In 2006, the Satine brand was introduced. Satine, which is a summary of the brand’s offerings, derives its English name “SATINE” from French, meaning “smooth as satin,” symbolizing the silky texture of pure white milk.

Satine is the flagship high-end brand representative of the Yili Group, adhering to a high-quality philosophy, featuring organic milk, pure milk, and low-fat milk product series. Among them, organic milk is the flagship product, produced organically throughout the entire process, preserving the natural nutrition and taste of milk, and winning the love of a vast number of consumers.

Satine Milk was born in 2006 as the high-end brand representative of Yili. Since its launch, it has consistently upheld the commitment to delivering high-quality products and has been dedicated to creating “high-quality natural milk” in China. It offers eight products: Satine Organic Pure Milk with Dream Cap, Satine Organic Skimmed Pure Milk with Dream Cap, Satine Organic Slim Brick, Satine Pure Milk with Dream Cap, Satine Slim Brick Pure Milk, Satine Low-Fat Slim Milk Brick, Satine Imported Pure Milk from New Zealand, and Satine Elegant Pure Milk.

The production certification for organic milk is strict and involves significant investments, with complex requirements for the dairy farming environment and processing technology. For a long time, there were no dairy companies in China producing organic milk until the introduction of Satine Organic Milk in 2007. During years of research and development, Satine carefully analyzed international organic standards and built a complete organic milk production chain following these standards.

Yili Group consists of five business divisions: Liquid Milk, Chilled Drinks, Milk Powder, Yogurt, and Raw Milk, with nearly a hundred affiliated companies, offering over 1,000 product varieties, including pure milk, dairy beverages, ice cream, frozen yogurt, milk powder, milk tea powder, and yogurt.

In 2007, Satine Organic Milk was introduced. It falls under the category of organic food and is sourced from an organic agricultural production system. Satine selected Hohhot, known as the “Milk Capital” in Inner Mongolia, and Xilin Gol for the construction of organic pastures. After three years of soil purification, water source protection, grass planting, and cattle breeding, Satine successfully created organic milk products in China.

In 2017, all Satine products underwent an upgrade, with a protein content of 3.6g/100ml of milk protein and 120mg/100ml of native high calcium. The use of international membrane filtration technology helped retain nutrients, achieving three major upgrades in milk source, nutrition, and technology. In 2018, officially certified by Guinness World Records, Satine Organic Milk achieved the world record for sales.

Satine has always insisted on high-quality organic products. In 2019, it launched a new product, High-End Organic Pure Milk with Dream Cap, with a protein content of 3.8g/100mL, providing consumers with even higher-quality organic milk. It also advocates a sustainable organic lifestyle, promoting a close connection with nature, caring for family, enjoying inspiration and relaxation in nature, and focusing on public welfare and environmental protection.

Satine has partnered with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) for the conservation of the Northeast wetlands and biodiversity.

In July 2016, Yili’s Satine brand partnered with WWF to jointly carry out the “Sustainable Corn Planting Demonstration – Wetland Conservation Project.”

In December 2016, Yili, along with the Satine brand, participated in the “Business and Biodiversity Global Partnership” conference of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in Mexico. Yili represented Chinese companies at the ceremony and successfully signed the 2016 United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), becoming a Chinese company that signed the CBD.

In 2017, Satine of Yili became a WWF China charity cooperation partner, calling on more consumers to pay attention to public welfare and ecological conservation.
