HONYAR Electric was established in 1981 and is a large state-owned enterprise under the China Putian Group. It has become a leading company in China’s entire-home smart field, vigorously expanding from smart homes towards future communities and smart parks, transitioning into an IoT platform-type enterprise, continuously ushering in a new era of intelligent and beautiful living.

HONYAR Electric is the founding brand of the 86-type switch socket in Mainland China. Over 40 years, it has developed a comprehensive range of products in entire-home intelligence, electrician and electrical, lighting appliances, and water and electricity pipelines, becoming an integrated solution provider for smart home systems.

In June 2021, with the integration of “China Putian” into “China Electronics Technology Group Co., Ltd.” (referred to as “China Electronics”), HONYAR Electric’s actual controller changed to “China Electronics.” In August 2021, HONYAR Electric joined the China Electronics Corporation, aiming to become an exemplary model for central enterprises’ transformation and development benchmark.

At its inception, HONYAR Electric embraced the mission of being a “trusted electrical expert.” With unwavering focus, pragmatism, and dedication, it interpreted the spirit of a great nation’s craftsman, earning great acclaim in the field of electrical construction. In 1994, the company began implementing the ISO9001 quality management system and successfully obtained certification, aligning its management systems with international standards. In 2005, HONYAR Electric was certified as a CNAS nationally accredited laboratory, bringing its testing capabilities in line with international standards. As the company grew, in 2007, it introduced the “Excellent Performance Management System,” elevating its quality management to new heights. In 2013, it was honored with the Zhejiang Provincial Government Quality Award. In 2021, it received the “2020 Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Third Prize.”

Since 1985, it established a technical development department and a central laboratory. In 2016, HONYAR officially entered the smart home industry, strategizing to make “smart panels (switch sockets)” the entry point, platform, and terminal of smart homes.
