On March 29, 2016, Xiaomi’s founder, Lei Jun, unveiled MIJIA, the brand-new smart home brand under Xiaomi, in Beijing.
Since then, Xiaomi’s smart home products have adopted the MIJIA brand, with the product philosophy centered around making life an art form, offering consumers smart home products that combine reliable quality, excellent design, and reasonable pricing.
The MIJIA app, part of the Xiaomi ecosystem, serves as the central control and e-commerce platform for Xiaomi’s ecosystem products. It integrates device control, e-commerce marketing, crowdfunding, and scene sharing into one platform, providing a comprehensive solution for users’ intelligent lifestyles, primarily focusing on smart hardware and covering both hardware and home service products.
The MIJIA app not only connects with Xiaomi’s ecosystem companies but also facilitates interconnectivity with all Xiaomi and ecosystem smart products. It also integrates third-party products, aiming to establish a complete ecosystem loop from smart product integration, crowdfunding incubation, e-commerce integration, reaching users, to control and sharing capabilities.
