DRIFT is a sports camera brand that pioneered the “seamless internet connection” technology for sports cameras, developing models capable of internet connectivity and social interaction.
Founded in 2006 in London, DRIFT is a tech company specializing in the development of wearable video services. For years, it has adhered to the principle of “listening to user feedback and continuously refining products.” It has consistently created user-friendly wearable sports cameras. DRIFT is also recognized by NASA as a brand capable of undertaking space missions.
Shenzhen Fuyunming Network Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2013, is a mobile internet company focused on the production and development of intelligent wearable sports cameras. In 2016, it acquired the European sports camera brand DRIFT, with a history of 11 years, and has been committed to creating cost-effective, easy-to-use sports cameras with a distinct British design aesthetic. The brand has won several awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, and is also recognized by NASA as one of the few global sports camera brands capable of executing space missions.
In 2018, the company received special equity funding from the Shenzhen government for the “Wearable Sports Camera Industry Chain Key Link Enhancement | Industry Chain Key Link Enhancement Support Plan Project (Equity Funding Category).” It also received investment from Yuanzhi Capital, an investment institution of Shenzhen’s State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. The company currently holds 6 video field invention patents, over 20 product patents, and more than 70 software copyrights. In February 2020, the company’s products supported Huawei’s device virtualization capabilities and were officially included in its 1+8+N hardware distributed ecosystem, receiving extensive support from Huawei’s Consumer BG in marketing and technology.
