KANS was established in 2003 as a brand under Shanghai Jahwa United Co., Ltd. By 2015, KANS had become a leading Chinese cosmetics brand.

In 2021, KANS rebranded with a new focus on “scientific anti-aging,” launching the slogan “Confidence in Youth,” and concentrated on the evolving anti-aging needs of Asian women of all ages, filling a gap in the Chinese market for scientific anti-aging products. The bifidus ferment ingredient TIRACLE is KANS’s proprietary core ingredient, now incorporated into its products.

The parent company Jahwa Group’s core competitive strength is its scientific research, having established a comprehensive and robust R&D system, leading basic R&D capabilities, mature technological platforms and R&D management processes, as well as advanced equipment and instruments.

Jahwa Group began its commitment to independent R&D in 2003, setting up two major research centers and two supply chains globally; initiated basic research in 2016, becoming a pioneer in China’s cosmetic basic research; it boasts first-class R&D scientists and young talent. As of September 30, 2021, the R&D team consists of 227 members, led by seven internationally renowned scientists, including Huang Hu, Hu Xincheng, and Fu Zihua.

Backed by Jahwa Group, KANS continues to invest a significant percentage of its budget in scientific research annually. In 2012, KANS Company completed a strategic transformation focusing on brand and category, covering skincare, facial masks, men’s products, mother and baby care, personal care, and makeup.
