Pearl River Piano Group has six piano manufacturing industrial bases in Guangzhou, Foshan, Beijing, Zhejiang, Germany, and Poland. Its marketing and service network covers 112 countries and regions globally. In China, it has more than 300 direct dealers and over 1,000 sales outlets. Internationally, it has more than 200 sales and service points, with an annual production and sales volume of over 160,000 pianos and a cumulative production and sales volume of over 2.7 million pianos since its establishment.
Subsidiary Emerson, focused on the manufacturing of digital instruments, was founded in 2008. Emerson has developed well-known digital brands such as Amason, Pearlriver avec KORG, and Harpsichord. Their product line covers digital pianos, smart digital pianos, MIDI keyboards, electronic drums, electric guitars, electric guitar bass speakers, digital piano group class music rooms, 6+1 children’s enlightenment digital music classrooms, music teaching systems, advanced electronic pianos, effectors, etc. In recent years, Emerson has maintained a fast growth pace, with a production and sales volume exceeding 40,000 units, positioning them among the top in China’s domestic market. In April 2018, Emerson became a digital instrument company listed on the New Third Board.
Since 2014, Pearl River Piano Group has established a cultural education investment company and established a cultural education industry fund, making music education its main development business. Combining the development of smart instruments and intelligent teaching APP modules, they have changed the traditional art education development model and promoted the Pearl River Piano brand’s art education system nationwide. With the construction of the National Art Education Center project, Pearl River Piano’s art classrooms have been established in various regions and communities, making the art training entity more regional and community-oriented. Pearl River Piano’s art classroom partners now exceed 400, covering 21 provinces. Pearl River Piano Group actively explores intelligent marketing and manufacturing in the internet age. They established a subsidiary company, Musicware, focusing on e-commerce business. They have set up flagship stores on Tmall, JD.com, and Taobao, and adopted O2O and B2C models to achieve personalized customization for end consumers through the internet. They have cooperated with well-known internet companies to jointly develop smart pianos, creating high-tech piano products. They have developed smart acoustic pianos that offer human-computer interaction electronic scores, accurate real-time scoring, and real-time demonstration videos on traditional acoustic pianos, meeting people’s demand for online instrument learning in the internet age. In September 2016, the group reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba Cloud to jointly build a large-scale internet instrument service platform, 91Qinq. This platform focuses on the piano after-service stock market, creating a “Cloud Piano Service” ecosystem and building a closed-loop industrial chain of “manufacturing, leasing and sales, service, education.” The platforms “91Qinq” and “91Tuning” have officially gone live, and in September 2017, 91Qinq launched the artificial intelligence music education internet product, “Piano Cloud School,” becoming a pioneer in integrating traditional music education with artificial intelligence.
