MASTER KONG, under the umbrella of Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corp., is primarily engaged in the production and sale of instant noodles, beverages, pastries, and related supporting industries. Since the development and production of instant noodles in 1992, it rapidly evolved into one of China’s and even the world’s largest producers and sellers of instant noodles. Its main products have gained a significant market presence in the Chinese food market.
Master Kong Holdings Limited (“the Company”) and its subsidiaries (“the Group”) are mainly engaged in the production and sale of instant noodles and beverages in China. The Group started producing instant noodles in 1992 and expanded its business to include convenience food and beverages from 1996. In March 2012, the Group further extended its beverage business by forming a strategic alliance with PepsiCo China’s beverage business, taking over the manufacturing, bottling, packaging, sale, and distribution of PepsiCo’s non-alcoholic beverages in China. Currently, the Group’s main products have gained significant market presence in the Chinese food market.
As an industry leader, Master Kong shoulders the mission of leading food safety and quality assurance in the industry. The Group continuously constructs and improves its management system, establishes risk prevention mechanisms, implements comprehensive control over food safety, ensures product quality and safety, and provides consumers with safe, delicious, and healthy food.
The Group constantly refines its nationwide sales network, allowing new products to quickly and effectively enter the market, positioning its products in a leading position in the industry. As of December 31, 2020, the Group had 365 sales offices and 236 warehouses serving 47,898 distributors and 210,366 direct retail customers.
The Company was listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in February 1996. As of December 31, 2020, the Company’s market capitalization reached $9.6 billion. Currently, the Company is a constituent stock of the MSCI China Index and the Hang Seng China (Hong Kong Listed) 100 Index.
In the future, the Group will continue to focus on the food manufacturing, marketing, and distribution industry, strengthening its channel and sales system networks to achieve the goal of becoming the “world’s largest Chinese convenience food and beverage group.”
