On January 5, 2017, Tencent and Midea Group formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen. Both parties will jointly build deep cooperation based on intellectual property rights authorization and IoT cloud technology to achieve connectivity, dialogue, and remote control of home appliances. As part of the cooperation, they jointly launched multiple intelligent home appliances based on QQ Family intellectual property rights authorization and Tencent IoT cloud technology.
